Ascent Hearing Care is a UK high street retailer of hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Ascent was founded by Dr Michael Nolan on the 20th Feb 2007, with retail locations throughout the UK. The company provides hearing aids and client care services in its high street centres as well as additional clinics and online shopping facilities. ==Products and Services== The company primarily fit, program and supply hearing aids for private clients in centres on the UK, including Northern Ireland. All centres offer free hearing aid cleaning services and hearing tests to the public. Hearing aid brands fitted by Ascent include Starkey Laboratories,〔(Starkey Laboratoiries )〕 AudioSync, Phonak,〔(Phonak )〕 and Oticon.〔(Oticon )〕 Ascent’s range of hearing aids include digital behind the ear fittings as well as receiver in canal, in the ear, in the canal, completely in canal and invisible in canal (IIC) fittings. In May 2010 Ascent launched its online shop to make assistive listening devices and hearing health products available for online order and mail delivery. It also features details of the hearing aids that can be fitted in the company’s high street centres.
